Happy New Year 2013

Happy New Year! Looking back, I had a pawsome 2012 filled with many travel adventures. 2012 had a little bit of everything. There was the beach, snow, the hot desert and foggy hills of San Francisco. In total, I did 7 airplane flights in 2012 - visited the east coast 3 times - plus many road trips.

For 2012 California adventures, I traveled to Santa Barbara and stayed at San Ysidro Ranch, which I highly recommend for luxury pet-friendly accommodations. The ranch has private free standing cottages and they even displayed my name on a wooden sign next to the front door to welcome me. I also went to Palm Springs twice and stayed at the Viceroy Palm Springs. The Viceroy Palm Springs is definitely an amazing resort for hip dogs and people. It remains my go-to southern California resort for chillaxin with my people. I also visited Santa Monica and Los Angeles and checked-in at the uber posh Hotel Bel-Air. The iconic Hotel Bel-Air originally opened in 1946 and goes out of their way for pampering pooches and their people. Trust me. In addition, I also traveled up to northern California to visit friends and family in San Francisco and stayed at the historic Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito. You can check out my hotel reviews for additional details.

Be sure to stay tuned to see what 2013 brings!

I got the backpack. Let's go!

Merry Christmas 2012

Since 2009, I have packed my bags to spend Christmas on the east coast visiting family and friends. This year was no different. Since I'm a west coast shiba, this means I have to hop in my custom Celltei travel carrier and fly across country with my people. It's a long flight, but I fly in cabin with my people and they make sure I'm as comfy as possible. In total, I've now logged 23 flights and I'm only 3 1/2 years old. And when we finally got there, Christmas didn't disappoint; there was plenty of fluffy white snow for me to dig in.  I hope wherever you spent your Christmas it was just as fun!
